Burns Philip Shipping was part of the largest private commercial entity in Fiji providing a vast network of services and support for the economy of Fiji. Pacific Forum was established in 1978 to provide much needed reliable and committed shipping links for Pacific Island countries and has dedicated itself as a shipping company for the Pacific through both good and bad times. Through these links Pacific Agencies is the leading shipping agency company in Fiji.

A major player in the South Pacific, PFL is committed to continuous service improvements and conditions for its customers.Pacific Forum Line is proudly marketed through Pacific Agencies, in which they hold a one-third shareholding. From New Zealand there is a weekly sailing calling at Lautoka and Suva. The Australian services provide a call northbound every 15 days, and a call southbound every 15 days. Calls by both the New Zealand and Australian vessels total 5 a month, giving Fiji exporters a valuable link to the other Pacific Islands, which consititute a significant market for Fiji.
