The weights and dimensions shown below are averages for each type of container. Individual containers do vary, and it is necessary to check allowable weights (noted on right hand door) and dimensions (shown on the small owner's plate on the left hand door).

Other container types may also be available on request.

 

20ft General

These are used to carry goods that require shelter from the elements but don't need to be kept at a certain temperature. They're made of steel with a wood or plywood floor.

You can upgrade to a ‘food quality' general container for items like canned or dry foodstuffs.

General containers are also available as tie backs for produce.

40ft General Container

20ft High Cube

High cube containers are the same as general containers, except they're about 300mm taller and are 2 pallets wide. People use them to carry goods that are light, but take up a lot of space; or items that are a little too tall for a general container.

High cube containers are also available as tie backs for produce.

40ft High Cube

High cube containers are the same as general containers, except they're about 300mm taller and are 2 pallets wide. People use them to carry goods that are light, but take up a lot of space; or items that are a little too tall for a general container.

20ft Reefer

These are for goods that require temperature control. Each container has its own refrigeration unit. The floor is made of aluminium T section.

To let the cooling air flow around inside the container the goods must not be stacked higher than the red line on the walls.

 

Ideal for: Advantages:
meat Microlink controllers ensure that goods in the container are kept at the set temperature
vegetables, fruit your products arrive in the best possible condition with a longer shelf life

20ft Flat Rack - PFLU065 Series

Flat rack containers are designed for oversized or very heavy items. They have no cover.

Lashing points are fixed along the bottom rail. They should be loaded with corner posts up for ease of handling - even if cargo is oversized. The corner posts fold down when not in use.

20ft Flat Rack - TRIU06 Series

Flat rack containers are designed for oversized or very heavy goods. They have no cover. The TRIU06 series are cost effective for cargo that is both over height and over width. Lashing points are fixed along the bottom rail and the ends fold down when not in use.
